RTM Design has long appreciated the impact that business people and we as design
practitioners have on the environment. Since our beginning in 1989 we have consistently
applied an environmental consciousness to our studio and the items we produce.
We do this by analysing your design requirement and presenting the best environmental
solutions for your project. We determine if a printed document is appropriate or if an online
alternative would be suitable. We consider how we can most effectively help you to reach
your audience and minimise waste and save money. We suggest innovative paper sizes and
layouts to reduce waste and maximise return from a printed sheet. We encourage the use of
vegetable based inks and water wise printing practices. We promote the use of recycled paper
from genuinely renewable resources. We use suppliers and services that share our
environmental principals.
Core to our thinking is to limit the environmental effect of our design solution throughout its
entire life cycle. RTM Design supports and actively promotes sustainable design.
